At Wimbledon Dental Spa we provide a patient centric approach to all of our services. We have a state-of-the-art facility and equipment, use carefully researched dental materials and products, apply thorough sterilization methods and have a highly trained team. We are sensitive to the needs of nervous patients.

We start by seeking to understand any fears you may have. We can show you how the whole process can be gentle dentistry with a gentle dentist. All treatment is fully explained and we encourage you to ask as many questions as you need to. Your dental treatment can be carried out as quickly or slowly as you like.

We appreciate pain management must be a high priority in our services.  We always use a gel or spray to numb the gum prior to any injections and all our injections are pre-warmed to body temperature with a special machine so that you really don’t feel the pain. We try our utmost to make sure you are pain free.

We can also discuss I.V. sedation if needed.

Our administration team are dedicated to making you feel at ease when booking appointments, organising payment arrangements and processing insurance. We accept all types of insurance provider, such as SimplyHealth, AXA PPP, NDP (National Dental Plan), Cigna, Boots, Tesco, April UK, Aviva, CS Healthcare, HSA, Health-On-Line, WPA Health Insurance and Saga. Our Treatment Co-ordinator will complete any insurance forms required. On your instruction, our Corporate Care Co-ordinator can discuss claims with the insurer on your behalf.

Dr Soin

Dr Soin was born and educated in Wimbledon and attended the King’s College School.

He travelled to Liverpool to study dentistry and qualified in 1995. After one year of vocational training in North Wales, Dr Soin returned to Wimbledon to set up his own practice in 1997.

In 2009, Dr Soin was among the UK’s first intake to study cosmetic surgery at Manchester University. After completing his MSc in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, he was asked by Healthcare Learning company Smile On to share his skills by providing tutoring, which he still does today.

In 2010, Dr Soin decided to concentrate on cosmetic cases and private dentistry with his private surgery, Wimbledon Dental Spa.

Dr Soin has three children, enjoys his family life and is a keen golfer, rock climber and walker. He likes to spend weekends with his family in the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, escaping all the hustle and bustle of London life. He has lived in Wimbledon for 43 years and contributes as much as he can to the benefit of Wimbledon and his local community and schools.

Stephanie Soin

Originally qualified in Law and Politics in France, Stephanie got the bug of dentistry when she first joined forces with her husband as a practice manager in 1997.

Stephanie qualified as a dental hygienist/therapist in 2007 having previously qualified as a dental nurse. She holds a Sedation Dental Nursing qualification and has followed Implant Nursing training with Astra Tech and Biohorizons.

Her motto is always ‘prevention is better than cure’ and she looks primarily at the cause of why a patient presents with disease, be it decay or bad gums. She insists on thorough oral hygiene instructions and diet advice with all her patients. As a hygienist, she is particularly interested in the treatment of periodontal (gum) disease as well as the hygiene preparation and maintenance work attached with implant treatment.

As a therapist, she has a special interest in cosmetic white fillings and has continued training with the London Deanery and Advanced Dental Seminars.

Also a mother of three, Stephanie knows first hand what children are like and how scary it can be for them to go to the dentist (even if it is their Mummy… or maybe especially when it is their Mum!) She believes deeply in an anxiety management method known as behavioural shaping, which has proven highly effective in multiple medical disciplines in children. This method relies on a progressive gentle step-by-step approach, which allows the child patient to feel relaxed and in control, allowing full trust between him/her and Stephanie. This method has repeatedly guaranteed her great cooperation from even her younger patients.

As the Practice Manager, Stephanie ensures Wimbledon Dental Spa is fully in line with the current regulations of our governing bodies the Care Quality Commission and the General Dental Council. Latest CQC report.

When she is not busy with her various clinical and administrative duties at Wimbledon Dental Spa, Stephanie enjoys time with her three daughters. She loves walking and playing golf and most of all, loyal to her French roots, is a keen cook and wine taster.

Dr Shazray Zaeem

Dr Shazray Zaeem First qualified in Pakistan in 2013, Shazray completed her GDC Statutory Examination in 2018. She joined our practice in April 2021.

Dr Zaeem is particularly interested in whitening, cosmetic bonding and periodontal (gums) management, such as deep cleaning, hygiene, stain removal and micro-abrasion.
